How we check a site’s licence

An RTP figure only means something once the operator publishing it is confirmed, so we check the Gambling Commission’s public register before we take any percentage at face value. An operator taking customers in Great Britain needs a Commission licence no matter where it is based — a Curaçao, Maltese or Gibraltar licence doesn’t substitute for one. We look up the domain, note which company the licence names, and say plainly when a brand isn’t on the register.

Where our information comes from

RTP and volatility figures come from operators’ own published game information and provider data sheets; licensing, payment and limit figures come from the regulator, official payment pages and published terms, with the source named beside each one. A figure that only appears on a marketing page is left out rather than repeated.
